Content and Output Disclaimer

1. What this covers

This disclaimer applies to all information Gram makes available, including:

• guides, articles, country pages, glossary entries and frequently asked questions on getgram.eu;
• the "Do I need EPR?" checker and any similar tool;
• per-country information about registration requirements, thresholds, reliefs, deadlines, reporting cadences and producer responsibility organisations; and
• everything the Gram application displays or generates, including registration status indicators, threshold comparisons, deadlines, material categorisations, recyclability classifications, article numbers, quantities, fee estimates, reports, files and documents.

2. Gram is in early access

The Gram application and this website are in early access. They are under active development, are incomplete, and contain errors and gaps. Features change, and information is added and corrected as we go. Everything below should be read with that in mind.

3. Information, not advice

Gram provides information and calculation tools. It does not provide legal, tax, accounting, audit or certification advice.

We are not a law firm, a tax adviser, an accountant, an auditor, a certification body, a conformity assessment body or a producer responsibility organisation. Using Gram, reading our material or contacting us does not create an adviser-client relationship. Nothing we provide replaces advice from a qualified adviser, or confirmation from the competent authority or scheme in the market concerned.

4. No reliance

You must verify information before acting on it. Do not submit a registration or report, sign a declaration, publish a document, pay a fee or make a business decision on the basis of Gram alone.

5. Accuracy and currency

Our information is compiled from public sources. These include EU legislation, national authorities and producer responsibility organisations, and also secondary sources such as sector publications, consultancies and service providers, which are not authoritative.

Packaging rules change frequently, differ between markets, and are in several markets still being implemented or transposed. Some of what we publish is therefore uncertain, disputed or already out of date. We do not update it on any fixed schedule, and we do not warrant that any of it is accurate, complete or current. Where we know that a figure comes from a secondary source or has not been confirmed, we try to say so, but we cannot guarantee that every such case is flagged.

6. Market coverage

Fee rates and category mapping in the Gram application are currently developed for the Swedish scheme.

Quantities, article numbers, categories and downloadable files generated for other markets are indicative only. They may apply Swedish classification logic and are not suitable for filing in those markets without independent verification against the requirements of the relevant scheme. We do not warrant that any output meets the format or content requirements of any authority or scheme.

7. Registration indicators and thresholds

Indications about whether you must register in a market depend both on data you supply, including self-declared turnover and the sales data you upload, and on reference data that may be uncertain.

An indication that you fall below a threshold is never a confirmation that you have no obligation. In most markets, registration is required from the first unit of packaging placed on the market, and a threshold affects only what you pay or how you report. Thresholds, reliefs and exemptions are also being changed as PPWR is implemented, and dates may move.

8. Estimates

Fee figures are estimates, calculated from the data you supply and from rate tables that may have been superseded. They are not quotes, invoices or assessments. The amount an authority or scheme actually charges you may be different, and may be higher.

9. Deadlines and reminders

Deadlines, reporting cadences and reminders are provided as a convenience on a best-efforts basis. Only a limited number of markets have dates recorded from a verified source; for others, any date shown is one you have entered.

We do not warrant that any reminder will be generated, sent, delivered, received or timely. You remain solely responsible for identifying and meeting your own deadlines.

10. Declarations of conformity and technical documentation

Where the application helps you prepare a declaration of conformity or supporting records, the content, the decision to issue, and the choice of signatory are yours. The signatory takes responsibility under Article 39(4) of Regulation (EU) 2025/40.

We do not assess whether your supporting evidence is adequate and we do not certify the legal sufficiency of any document. The application may allow you to issue a declaration where supporting documentation is missing or incomplete.

11. Scope

Gram covers packaging compliance only, namely extended producer responsibility and Regulation (EU) 2025/40. It does not address any other requirement that may apply to your products or your business, including the digital product passport, general product safety, product labelling, chemicals, textiles, electrical and electronic equipment, or batteries.

12. Third-party links and sources

We link to legislation, authorities, schemes and other third-party material for reference. We do not control that material, are not responsible for its content or availability, and linking to it is not an endorsement.

13. Liability

Our liability in connection with the information covered by this disclaimer is governed by sections 15, 16 and 17 of our Terms of Service at /legal/terms.
